United Way Honors World Mental Health Day

United Way is committed to helping ALICE prosper.

The World Health Organization says depression and anxiety disorders cost the global economy $1 trillion (USD) each year in lost productivity.

Of the 44 million U.S. adults who experience mental health challenges and illnesses, Indigenous people and people part of the LBGTQA+ community are disproportionately affected, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
