Free one-on-one financial coaching and workshops, funded by United Way, help people get on more solid financial footing.
Financial coaches work with clients to help them to understand their finances, create budgets, start saving, and reduce debt. United Way provides grant funding to high-quality financial coaching and workshop programs. Want to learn more about how to partner with us? Check out our Grants Information section to learn more about our next grant cycle.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
For those who choose to attend one-on-one financial coaching services, the financial coach will work with you to review your current financial status, understand your credit score, identify issues, and prioritize action steps to set short- and long-term financial goals and develop a household budget.
Clients can also choose to participate in various group financial workshops on topics such as buying a home, credit and debit cards, debt consolidation, and more.
